2006 Changed Everything..
Like most stylist Janine 'Nine' Lynzelle started very early on her hair loving journey (Age 7-9). However, it wasn't until she was able to see herself "naked" for the first time as an adult that took her love for caring for hair and serving to the next level.

Seeing, feeling and learning what natural textures need in order to grow and flourish, Nine went on a personal mission to not only encourage other black women to see themselves naked, but to also teach them what she learned from experience, So they too could feel the very same confidence within themselves..
This also inspired Nine to go to hair school with the intent to specialize in the maintenance and growth of natural hair.
This is when Nywele By Nine was born.
Growing up, from childhood, Nine loved to get her hair braided and would tell her mother " I wish I could get braids I didn't have to take out" and one day she was introduced to Lauren Hill. She was the first feminine appearing woman with locs she had ever seen. Nine made note of it and when the time was right. she began her loc journey.
With 30 years of experience, Nine has helped teach hundreds of people how to, not only maintain healthy hair, but to grow their strands to lengths many thought was impossible...
